Anxiety

Greetings

On many occasions when we turn our sight from our God, we are likely to feel the anxiety present in our live. We are too worry about today, tomorrow and the memory of the moments of the past, that were not so pleasant in our lives. When we turn our attention back to God, fear and worry disappear, and are replaced with our hope in a father who loves us, care for us, and helps us reach our dreams and illusions.

I have experienced both situations, the one in which I have allowed anxiety to take hold of me and the one in which I have allowed faith and hope to be poured all over me. Certainly, those moments, in which I have allowed anxiety to take over me, have been moments I don't wish anyone to experience.

Fear and anxiety are common, frequent, destructives and painful. Common symptoms of anxiety include apprehension, worries, insomnia ,restlessness, tension, headaches, fatigue, dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath, perspiration, difficulty concentrating and excessive alertness. Anxiety also causes panics attack.

God wants to free these undesirable experiences, and invites us to trust Him. Think about the things that frighten you and how rational that fear is. God promised Abram to make a great nation out of him. Looking at the years passed and still with no heir as promised, Abram thought of this problem, which became his favorite concern. God's response to Abram's concern was: "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, you very great reward" ( Genesis 15:1). The future  of our life is inn the hands of our heavenly father. He knows that freedom from anxiety is one of our greatest need and wants us to be satisfied today and confident about tomorrow.

Anxiety manifest itself through grief over uncertainty. These uncertainties may happen now or after a time; or may not even happen at all, existing only in our mind. However, the symptoms are very real, both physically and emotionally, and can be very painful. No wonder God wants us to get rid of anxiety.

John 14:27 says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid".
Deuteronomy 31:8 says, "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you, he will never leave you nor, forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged" .

That's why no matter what is happening in your life, you expect something better. Trust in God and in His promises, He will not forsake you. A child's first task is to trust in their mother or caregiver. With this he will fill good with the world and with the future that awaits him. Jesus ask us to identify with him in the same way and his tender care will reassure us. He tells us in John 14:18 " I will not leave your orphans." Let's repeat these words every day, meditate on them at night and be happy, for God lives and is willing to help us if we only decide to surrender our burdens to him.

I did it and I don't regret it. I learned that in moments when I was tormented by a situation I did not achieve anything only illness and anguish; but when I decided to surrender them in the hands of God and let Him direct me to safe port, my life changed and became a life of rejoicing, health and achievements. I began to enjoy each day the gifts of my God, and I stopped focusing on problems starting to see them smaller every day as compared to the blessing that God has given me. By looking at myself and comparing myself I have been able to see that even my face has changed since I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. As long as we are in this world we will have situations in which, we can face them alone or in the hand of God. It is my hope that you will allow God to help you in any situation you are in, and that each of you reflects the peace and hope of having met a Savior. God bless you.

Looking forward for next Thursday.
