The triumph of faith

Many years ago, I found out that I could not have children but, I felt no fear or sadness in my heart because I was certain that God was in control of the situation. On many occasions, I saw my husband very sad and thoughtful but I always told him: “Don’t think about it anymore because God will give us the blessing of being parents”. Every time we visited a clothing store, I bought things for my baby and my husband said to me, "wouldn’t it be better that you wait for God to do the miracle and then buy things? and my answer was: "If I had any doubts, I would wait, but the God I believe in will make me a mother; I don’t tell Him how he will help me, I will just wait for His ways and His time, to do the miracle; and while I wait, I will enjoy preparing myself for the arrival of a baby to this home”.

 Finally, we were given the miracle! I was pregnant! but one month later I began to have threats of abortion and during one of those, the doctor told me to prepare for the worst, to be strong.  I did not prepare for the worst, instead I decided to hang in tight to the hope that God would save that pregnancy and I remember how I said in my mind: “God, you don’t abandon those who have put their trust in You”. That same day, almost at midnight, all the contractions, bleeding and vomiting disappeared. Today that baby is a ten-year-old boy, and not only that, I am also the mother of a five-year-old girl, another miracle in my life of which I will share my testimony later. My children are the living proof of an unshakable faith. Today I thank God for the opportunity He gave me to have children, both who are very different but that complete my life with the most pure and unconditional love I have ever known.

 
My faith prevented me from doubting that God would answer my prayers and I simply prepared myself for the miracle even without having received it. This reminds me of the story of the two farmers who prayed to God for rain, one of them prepared the soil to receive the rain while the other, even praying for the rain, never prepared the soil.Finally, God granted the miracle of the rain to the one who prepared the soil because this man was the one that showed God faith without doubts and it was pleasing to God.

In Matthew 17:20 Jesus said to them, " "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Not all the time I have had unshakable faith but certainly in the moments in which I have maintained my faith I have been able to see the most beautiful miracles in my life.Put your burdens and worries in the hands of Jesus, let Him carry them for you, and you should not regret.it

 

 John 11:40 Jesus said to him, "Did not I tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?

Hebrews 11: 1 So faith is the certainty of what is expected the conviction of what is not seen.

Although there are still petitions in my life in which God has kept silence, I trust in his promises and take for granted that the miracle will come to my life according to his will. I urge all of you to declare your miracle today in the name of Jesus. God bless you.

El triunfo de la fe

Hace muchos años atrás recibí la triste noticia de que no podría tener hijos. Al recibirla no sentí temor alguno ni tristeza en mi corazón porque tenía la certeza de que Dios estaba en control de aquella situación. En muchas ocasiones vi a mi esposo muy triste y pensativo pero yo le decía no pienses más en eso pues Dios nos dará la bendición de ser padres. Cada vez que visitábamos una tienda yo compraba cosas para mi bebé y mi esposo me decía," no es mejor que esperes que Dios nos haga el milagro y después compres las cosas" y yo le contestaba," si tuviera alguna duda esperaría  pero yo se que el Dios en el cual creo me hará madre yo no le digo la manera en que el me va ayudar simplemente espero que el decida como ayudarnos y nos conceda el milagro y mientras espero disfruto preparándome para la llegada de un bebé a este hogar."


Finalmente se nos dio y quedé embarazada pero al mes comenzaron las amenazas de aborto y en una de ellas el doctor me dijo prepárate para lo peor se fuerte pero yo no me preparé para lo peor me aferré con fuerza a la esperanza de que Dios salvaría ese embarazo y recuerdo que me decía en la mente Dios tu no dejas en afrenta aquellos que han puesto tu confianza en ti. Casi a las doce de la media noche todo desapareció las contracciones, sangrado y vómitos. Hoy día ese hijo tiene diez años y soy madre de otra niña de cinco. Otro milagro en mi vida del cual compartiré testimonio mas adelante. Mis hijos  el fruto de una fe inquebrantable. Hoy doy gracias a Dios la oportunidad que me dio. Niños muy distintos pero que llenan mi vida de el amor mas puro e incondicional que he conocido en mi vida.


Si observamos esa fe no tuvo dudas de que Dios contestaría y me preparé para el milagro sin aún haberlo recibido. Esto me recuerda la historia de los dos sembradores que oraban a Dios por lluvia, uno de ellos preparó el terreno para recibir la lluvia mientras que el otro aunque oraba nunca preparó el terreno. Finalmente Dios le concedió el milagro de la lluvia a aquel que había preparado el terreno pues fue el que le demostró una fe sin dudas y fue agradable a Dios.


En Mateo 17:20 Jesús les dijo: Por vuestra poca fe; porque de cierto os digo que si tuvieras fe como un grano de mostaza diréis a este monte: Pásate de aquí allá y se pasará; y nada os será imposible.


No todo el tiempo he tenido esa fe inquebrantable pero ciertamente en los momentos en que he mantenido esa fe han sido los momentos en los que he podido ver los milagros más hermosos de mi vida. Pon tus cargas y preocupaciones sobre las manos de Jesús deja que el los maneje no te arrepentirás.


San Juan 11:40 Jesús le dijo : No te he dicho que se crees verás la gloria de Dios?
Hebreos 11:1 Es pues la fe la certeza de lo que se espera la convicción de lo que no se ve.


Aunque aún quedan en mi vida peticiones ante las cuales Dios ha guardado silencio me amparo en sus promesas para dar por hecho que el milagro llegará a mi vida conforme a su voluntad. Les exhorto a todos ustedes a que también hoy declaren su milagro realidad en el nombre de Jesús. Dios los bendiga.

When everything seems to be against you

Greetings friends.


We all have faced moments in our lives in which everything seems to be against us and everything is complicated, health, economy, social, and you ask: God why you have abandoned me? The answer is that God never abandons you, He is very close to you even when the pain does not allow you to feel it. Isaiah 41:13 says, " For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you”.

Personally, I experienced that period where my health could not be controlled, the doctors did not find a treatment that could stabilize it, I began to have problems at work, I was prohibited from driving and I began to depend totality on others, to the point that by medical instructions I could not continue working due to my health condition. I lived in a place where there was an economic recession and where our expenses had increased with the arrival of our second child. A very unpleasant situation but where God became our refuge. Two years of total and absolute dependence on God but where I could see his wonders reflected in our home

To begin with, I was presented with the possibility of getting a surgery for my epilepsy, a possibility that had been totally ruled out in the beginning, and that thanks to God was a successful one. Then, seven months later, my husband was offered a new job in another country with better benefits and where my salary was no longer necessary; Our whole life began to improve.
Although my health has not reached the point of stability that is expected, I have full confidence in God that what will be best for my happiness and that of my family will soon occur. Today, looking back, I can see that there was a dark road that we were able to walk along with the presence of Jesus, who guided us to see the light of a new day. Today it seems that I am younger after going through that storm in my life. During that time, I received the help of friends and relatives that God put in our way and supported us. But I also experienced the refusal to help me from other friends and family I hoped to have counted on. This taught me that the word friend is something sacred, not used with everyone, they are the family we have selected. It was a moment of great spiritual and emotional growth that made me the strong woman that I am today. Now I understand that God prepared me for later fulfill the responsibility of telling others that there is a God that can do everything and for who there is nothing impossible if we lay and maintain our faith in Him.

God had another course for me, it was not accounting, reason I cried when I left, it was a new course that led me into writing, so I could tell others that not everything is lost if we put our trust in Him. That is why even if I do not know what is the situation you may be going through, I tell you once again not to give up because God has great things for you. He says in Matthew 7: (7-11) " Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. ⁸ For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.⁹ “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? ¹⁰ Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? ¹¹ If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!".

If you have a problem, give it to God and wait for His indication, He will let you know which is the best way to go, for as every Father seeks your happiness. Not always what we ask for will make us happy, but what God gives you is what will really bring joy and happiness to your heart. For a long time I asked God to allow for me to go back to work as an accountant but He kept that door closed, instead He opened the door to writing and although at first I thought it was not for me, now I feel the most blessed woman in the universe. It is something like when a child asks us something and we deny it for its sake and the child by his ignorance does not understand and cries and quarrels, then when he is an adult, he understands and appreciates why his father denied him what was asked. I hope that each one of you could understand that you have a God who can do everything. I encourage you to give your burdens to Him so that you can see His power reflected in your life. Cuando todo parece estar en contra

Todos hemos enfrentado momentos en nuestra vidas en los cuales  todo pareciera estar en contra nuestra y todo se complica, la salud, lo económico, lo social y uno se pregunta: ¿Dios porque me has abandonado? La contestación es que Dios nunca te abandona, El está muy cerca de ti aún cuando el dolor no te permita sentirlo. Dice Isaías 41:13 " Porque yo, el Señor, soy tu Dios ,que te sostiene de tu mano derecha y te dice: No temas yo te ayudo".


Personalmente experimenté ese periodo donde mi salud no lograba ser controlada, los médicos no encontraban un tratamiento que lograra estabilizarla, comencé a tener problemas en el trabajo, me prohibieron manejar y comencé a depender de otros en su totalidad, hasta el punto que por instrucciones médicas no pude seguir trabajando por mi condición de salud. Vivía en un lugar donde había una recesión económica y donde nuestros gastos habían aumentado con la llegada de nuestra segunda hija. Un cuadro muy poco alentador pero donde Dios se convirtió en nuestro refugio. Dos años de dependencia total y absoluta de Dios pero donde pude ver sus maravillas reflejadas en nuestro hogar:


Para comenzar, surge la posibilidad de operarme para mi epilepsia, posibilidad que había sido totalmente descartada, y que gracias a Dios resultó exitosa. Luego, siete meses mas adelante, a mi esposo le ofrecieron un nuevo trabajo en otro país con mejores beneficios y donde ya no era necesario mi sueldo; toda nuestra vida comenzó a mejorar.
Aunque mi salud no ha llegado al punto de estabilidad que se espera, tengo la plena confianza en Dios que ocurrirá lo que sea mejor para mi felicidad y la de mi familia. Hoy al mirar hacia atrás puedo ver que hubo un camino oscuro pero que con la presencia de Jesús logramos recorrer y volver a ver la luz de un nuevo día. Hoy parece que estoy más joven después de aquella tormenta que pasó por mi vida. Durante ese momento experimenté la ayuda de amigos que Dios puso en nuestro camino y nos respaldaron, así como la de algunos familiares; pero también pude experimentar el rechazo a ayudarme de otros amigos y familiares con los que esperaba haber contado. Esto  me enseñó que la palabra amigo es algo sagrado, no se usa con todo el mundo, ellos son la familia que hemos seleccionado. Fue un momento de gran crecimiento espiritual y emocional que me convirtió en la mujer fuerte que soy. Ahora entiendo que Dios me preparó para mas adelante cumplir la responsabilidad de decirles a otros que existe un Dios que todo lo puede y para el cual no hay nada imposible si ponemos y mantenemos nuestra fe en El.


Dios tenía otro rumbo para mi, no era el de la contabilidad que tanto lloré al dejar, era el de la escritura y el de poder decirles a otros que no todo está perdido si ponemos nuestra confianza en El. Es por eso que aunque no sepa cual es la situación que puedas estar pasando, te vuelvo a repetir que no te rindas porque Dios tiene grandes cosas para tí.Dice Mateo 7:(7-11) "Pedid y os darán; buscad y hallareís: llamad y se os abrirán. Porque todo el que pide recibe ; el que busca halla; y el que llama le abren. Que hombre de vosotros si su hijo le pide pan le dará una piedra? Y si le pide pescado le dará una serpiente? Pues si vosotros siendo malos sabéis dar buenas dádivas a vuestros hijos , cuanto más vuestro padre que está en los cielos dará buenas cosas a aquellos que se lo pidan? "


Si tienes un problema entrégalo a Dios y espera su indicación, que El te dirá cual es el mejor camino a seguir pues como todo padre El busca tu felicidad. No siempre lo que pedimos nos va hacer feliz pero lo que Dios te dé es lo que realmente te llevará la alegría y la felicidad al corazón. Por mucho tiempo yo le pedí volver a trabajar como contable pero El mantuvo esa puerta cerrada, mas la puerta de la escritura fue abierta y aunque al principio pensé que eso no era para mi, ahora me siento la mujer mas bendecida del universo. Es algo similar a cuando un hijo nos pide algo y se lo negamos por su bien y el niño por su ignorancia no entiende y llora y pelea, cuando es una adulto comprende y agradece lo que ese padre le negó en aquel momento. Espero surja en cada uno de ustedes la esperanza de que tienen un Dios que todo lo puede y entreguen sus cargas a El para que puedan ver su poder reflejado en sus vidas. Dios los bendiga.

Think Positively

Good morning


When we repeat thoughts, even unintentionally, we can cause then over time to become reality. Many times when a person wakes up repeats to himself or herself over and over that he or she is going to have a bad day and guess what? This person experiences many negative emotions and even significant physiological reactions such as upset stomach, headache or nervousness simply as a result of their negative self talk. At the end of the day he or she has the bad day thought out repeatedly in the morning. An example of my real life is that sometimes when I spend many days without seizures I think "I have spent days without seizures it is probably that soon I will have one" and what happen? In less than two hours I have seizure, sometime thirty minutes. For that reason it is important to think positively and to repeat in our mind positive thoughts for the rest of our life.


The Bible promises the believer a sound, well-balanced mind. In 2 Timothy (1:7) Paul writes, "for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind". Scriptural teaching us about our thoughts is not just informative, it's encouraging and potentially life changing. The author of Proverbs wrote in Proverb 17:22 " A merry heart does good, like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones".


Memorizing and dwelling upon this Scripture can help bring order to your thought life and as a result improve your relationships, health and happiness. Imagine the power of repeating passage from 2 Timothy 1:7 aloud. So yes, you really can: Think;
.I am healthy
.I am successful
.I am out of worry and anxiety
.I am in control of my emotions
.I am out of bitterness and resentment
.I am out of stress
.I am happy
.I am the son or daughter of a wonderful God


You can learn to be responsible for your mind. And that's essentially what Scripture instruct us to do. We can learn to direct our mind to reflect God's will. Clearly God wish a better way to live for us. Your thoughts and their biochemical reaction shape your emotional and physical health. You can control your thoughts. Is my wish that you feed your mind with thought of trust in God so that your life could be impacted in a positive way.


Philippians (4:8) say " Finally, brethren, whatever things are true , whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praise worthy- meditate on these things.


God bless you and help you to use the power of your mind in your favor and in doing so help yourself to live a healthy and better life. 


 

El poder del pensamiento

Cuando nos repetimos pensamientos día a día aunque no sea de forma intencional, podemos estar contribuyendo a que esos pensamientos se hagan realidad en nuestras vidas. En muchas ocasiones una persona al levantarse piensa  "quizás hoy no sea mi mejor día, tengo tantos compromisos que quizás no pueda cumplir con todos" y durante el día la persona comienza a experimentar emociones negativas y comienza a tener reacciones psicológicas como por ejemplo dolor de estómago, dolor de cabeza, nerviosismo simplemente como resultado de haberse llevado pensamientos negativos a su mente y finalmente terminó el día tan negativo como pensó en la mañana que lo iba a tener. Un ejemplo real de mi vida, en ocasiones cuando llevo un tiempo prolongado sin convulsar pienso " llevo tiempo sin convulsar ya pronto me viene una y adivinen no pasan dos horas sin que me llegue la convulsión en ocasiones ni treinta minutos. Por eso es importante que nutramos nuestra mente con pensamientos positivos y los repitamos una y otra vez.


La Biblia nos promete una mente bien balanceada. En 2 Timoteo (1:7), Pablo nos dice   " Porque no nos ha dado Dios espíritu de timidez, sino de poder, amor y dominio propio". Las escrituras nos enseñan que nuestros pensamientos no son solo informativos, tienen el potencial de cambiar una vida.Proverbios17:22 dice:  " el corazón alegre es una buena medicina, pero el espíritu triste seca los huesos."


Memorizar versículos bíblicos con promesas y repetirlos a nuestra mente nos puede ayudar a vivir una vida mas calmada, a tener un mayor control propio, a tener una mente más balanceada y a ser seres mas positivos. Podemos pensar:
.Soy un ser saludable
.Soy un ser exitoso
.Soy una persona con control de mis emociones
.Fuera de mi vida la ansiedad y las preocupaciones
.Soy una persona libre de stress
.Soy una persona feliz
.Soy hijo(a) de un gran Dios


Cuando entendemos que tenemos el control de nuestra mente, aprendemos a ser más responsables con los pensamientos que llevamos a ella. Experimentar emociones negativas como consecuencia de pensamientos negativos no es lo que Dios desea para nosotros. El desea que tengamos una mejor vida. Tus pensamientos y sus reacciones bioquímicas impactan tu salud física y emocional. Tus pensamientos son posibles de controlar. Es mi deseo que nutras tu mente con pensamientos de confianza en Dios y positivismo de manera que puedas impactar tu vida de forma positiva.


Filipenses 4:8 dice "Por lo demás todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honorable, todo lo justo, lo puro, lo amable, todo lo que es de buen nombre si hay virtud alguna si algo digno de alabanza en eso pensad". Que Dios nos ayude a nutrir nuestra mente cada día de pensamientos positivos y que podamos utilizar el poder de nuestra mente en nuestro favor.

The big difference

It's nice to see how the sun rises in the morning, indicating that a new day has begun. A new day which gives us the opportunity to set ourselves new goals, new hopes and new challenges. A new day that brings us the challenge of facing new situations. A new day that gives us the opportunity of achieving new tasks. A new day that gives us the opportunity of a new beginning. If we stop to observe the wonders that a new dawn offers us, every day we could celebrate when waking up.


Although God has not offered us a life without difficulties, he has offered us that He will give us his help to face every difficulty that may arise.  Looking into the lives of those who have succeeded and those who have been immersed in a life of frustration for unreached dreams, we can see a great similarity and a big difference between the two groups.

The great similarity is that both groups are made up by people who faced problems and frustrations in life. The great difference is that the group of people who triumphed did not stopped to regret when facing the problem, difficulty or frustration; while the group of people that have lived a life of regrets stopped their life because of a moment of difficulty, and was not capable of seeing the new dawn as a new opportunity to start over. That group, at the difficult time in their life, dedicated each new dawn to look at their past and to regret for what happened, devoting each day to remember and relive that painful moment instead of leaving the past behind and continue the way taken from the hand of the Creator. The group of successful people knew how to leave their regrets in the past, and was able to identify the new dawn as a new opportunity life has given to rise back to dream and to succeed.

I don’t know in which of the two groups you are, but if you are reading this topic, remember that God has given you a life, and it is up to you to decide if you walk forward taken by his hand in that fight to reach your dreams, or if you decide to devote another day of your life to regret yourself for things from the past that are not under your control. I hope in God you choose the path of holding the hand of God and enjoy this new day, that you can have the opportunity to prove yourself and others that you can do all things through Christ which strengthened you.

I hope that today you decide to give yourself the opportunity to be happy and to set new dreams and goals in your life.

Remember: God has not promised a sky always blue, a life full of paths covered with flowers all the time; God has not promised a Sun without rain, joy without sorrow, peace without pain. But God himself has promised, strengths for the day, rest from the work, light in the road, grace in the tests, help from the above, inexhaustible compassion and eternal love.

Remember the things that the He has promised, and by giving him your whole heart, he will ensure to make the difference in your life.

Una gran diferencia

Es lindo ver como en la mañana sale el sol indicando que un nuevo día ha comenzado. Un nuevo día que nos brinda la oportunidad de establecernos nuevas metas, nuevas ilusiones y nuevos retos. Un nuevo día que nos trae el desafio de enfrentar nuevas situaciones. Un nuevo día que nos dá la oportunidad de cumplir nuevas táreas. Un nuevo día que nos da la oportunidad de un nuevo comenzar. Si nos detuviéramos a observar las maravillas que ese nuevo amanecer nos ofrece, todos los días podríamos celebrar al despertar.


Aunque Dios no nos ha ofrecido una vida sin dificultades, nos ha ofrecido que nos dará su ayuda para enfrentar cada dificultad que se nos presente. Al analizar la vida de aquellas personas que han triunfado y aquellas personas que se han sumergido en una vida de frustración por sueños no alcanzados, podemos ver una gran similitud y una gran diferencia entre ambos grupos.


La gran similitud es que ambos grupos están compuestos por personas que enfrentaron problemas y frustraciones en la vida. La gran diferencia es que el grupo de personas triunfadoras no se detuvieron a lamentarse frente al problema ,dificultad o frustración, mientras que el grupo de personas que han vivido una vida de lamentaciones detuvo su vida ante un momento de dificultad y no fue capaz de ver el nuevo amanecer como una nueva oportunidad de volver a comenzar. Ese grupo a partir del momento difícil en su vida, dedicó cada nuevo amanecer a mirar su pasado y lamentarse por lo sucedido dedicando cada día a recordar y revivir ese momento de dolor y no han sido capaz de dejar el pasado atrás y continuar el camino de la mano del creador. El grupo de personas triunfadoras supo dejar que el pasado se llevara su lamento y supo identificar el nuevo amanecer como una nueva oportunidad que le ha dado la vida para levantarse volver a soñar y triunfar.

Desconozco en cual de los dos grupos te encuentras pero si estás leyendo este tema recuerda que Dios te ha regalado la vida y está en tus manos decidir si caminar hacia adelante tomado de su mano en la lucha por alcanzar tus sueños o si decides dedicar un día mas de tu vida a lamentarte por cosas del pasado que no están en tu control. Espero en Dios puedas elegir el camino de aferrarte de la mano de Dios y disfrutar de este nuevo día, que te puedas dar la oportunidad de demostrarte a tí y a otros que todo lo puedes en Cristo que te fortalece.
Que este día decidas darte la oportunidad de ser feliz y de establecer nuevos sueños y metas en tu vida.


Recuerda: Dios no ha prometido un cielo siempre azul, senderos cubiertos de flores a través de toda una vida; Dios no ha prometido un sol sin lluvia, gozo sin pena, paz sin dolor. Pero Dios sí ha prometido , fuerzas para el día, descanso del trabajo, luz para el camino, gracia en las pruebas, ayuda desde lo alto, compasión inagotable y amor eterno.


Recuerda  las cosas que El ha prometido, y que al entregarle todo tu corazón, El se encargará de hacer la diferencia en tu vida.
