Hi
Last weekend I visited an aquarium with my family, and while we were watching the fishes of the Caribbean, I found something very peculiar: an eel garden. When I looked at the eels, I could barely see their heads as they reached out of the hole they live in, and when hearing to the explanation of the caretaker I was more surprised as he explained that, with a length of thirteen inches, that fish never learned to swim, for fear, and they were submerged taking out only their head to see if they can get any food. They don't even go out looking for food, they wait for the sea current to bring food. I found it very interesting. Its name is Gorgasia Preclara, from a family of teleosteos fish distributed by the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans.
Immediately after I listened to the explanation, I reflected on how sometimes humans behave like Gorgasia Preclara. We dare not to undertake our projects and follow the road to a dream because of different fears that take over our mind. Fears to failure, fears to what others might think, fears to make mistakes, fears to rejection; In the end, so many fears that if I list them all, it is probable that it (the list) will not end. The days, the weeks, the months and the years go by, and we are still standing in the same point of departure without taking a single step towards that goal or that dream. When this happens, we are filled with frustrations because we feel an incomplete life and we constantly question what would have happened if we had dared to take another direction in our lives.
For a long time I experienced the situation in which I felt the need for a change in my life, the need to find a mission, a purpose. I felt the need not to be content with lamenting for an illness and to prove to myself that despite my illness God could do great things in my life, I felt the need as I have mentioned in others blogs, not to spend the days walking or on a train with the sole purpose of waiting for my son to get out of school or to ask myself if someday the illness would disappear. I felt hope that there was something we could do to solve our economic problem but at the same time I felt fear to take the risks. On one occasion, my brother, who is a doctor, offered me a large sum of money to work for him as part of the Accounting department of the office he was planning to open. Any other person would not have thought it twice but I did not accepted because I had to leave my country and I was afraid to have a fresh start in my life, paralysed by the fear instead of let God's hand guide me to a new beginning with the confidence that He would guide me and take care of me. Just like that fish, which spend the years without leaving the hole because of fear. I was at the same starting point, until I decided to put my total and absolute trust in God and decided one day in my prayer to give God my problems and ask him to help me get out of them. When the option to have surgery came, I launched myself, with fear, but I did it. When I was given again the opportunity to leave my country, an opportunity given to my husband of which I wrote on another blog, I launched myself without fear to a new start, a new beginning . God gave me the challenge to write and I accepted it by finding a mission in my life to bring a message of hope to others who think they have no hope in life. Now when looking back, I can realize that I am swimming and that I have traveled a great way in a short time because I simply decided to leave the hole and start swimming in search of a course and I no longer stand still waiting to see what life would bring me.
Jeremiah 1:19: "And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
Psalms 23:(1-4): " The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
God knows how destructive fear can be to us, is for that reason that the Bible warns us about it and gives us the hope that with the help of God nothing will happen to us. If you have a dream or you are living a situation that you want to change, give it to God and dare to fight. Do not behave like Georgasia Preclara that looms to see what the current bring and it goes back to hide without daring to swim. Dare to swim in the sea of life, swim without fear, enjoy every wave and every stream. Make each wave push you a little more towards that dream or goal that is in your heart.
Psalms 46:(1-3) says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

Cuando el miedo te detiene
Saludos

Recuerda nadie derrumba a quien Dios levanta. Nadie derrota a quien Dios protege. Nadie maldice a quien Dios bendice.

Anxiety
Greetings
On many occasions when we turn our sight from our God, we are likely to feel the anxiety present in our live. We are too worry about today, tomorrow and the memory of the moments of the past, that were not so pleasant in our lives. When we turn our attention back to God, fear and worry disappear, and are replaced with our hope in a father who loves us, care for us, and helps us reach our dreams and illusions.
I have experienced both situations, the one in which I have allowed anxiety to take hold of me and the one in which I have allowed faith and hope to be poured all over me. Certainly, those moments, in which I have allowed anxiety to take over me, have been moments I don't wish anyone to experience.
Fear and anxiety are common, frequent, destructives and painful. Common symptoms of anxiety include apprehension, worries, insomnia ,restlessness, tension, headaches, fatigue, dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath, perspiration, difficulty concentrating and excessive alertness. Anxiety also causes panics attack.
God wants to free these undesirable experiences, and invites us to trust Him. Think about the things that frighten you and how rational that fear is. God promised Abram to make a great nation out of him. Looking at the years passed and still with no heir as promised, Abram thought of this problem, which became his favorite concern. God's response to Abram's concern was: "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, you very great reward" ( Genesis 15:1). The future of our life is inn the hands of our heavenly father. He knows that freedom from anxiety is one of our greatest need and wants us to be satisfied today and confident about tomorrow.
Anxiety manifest itself through grief over uncertainty. These uncertainties may happen now or after a time; or may not even happen at all, existing only in our mind. However, the symptoms are very real, both physically and emotionally, and can be very painful. No wonder God wants us to get rid of anxiety.
John 14:27 says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid".
Deuteronomy 31:8 says, "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you, he will never leave you nor, forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged" .
That's why no matter what is happening in your life, you expect something better. Trust in God and in His promises, He will not forsake you. A child's first task is to trust in their mother or caregiver. With this he will fill good with the world and with the future that awaits him. Jesus ask us to identify with him in the same way and his tender care will reassure us. He tells us in John 14:18 " I will not leave your orphans." Let's repeat these words every day, meditate on them at night and be happy, for God lives and is willing to help us if we only decide to surrender our burdens to him.
I did it and I don't regret it. I learned that in moments when I was tormented by a situation I did not achieve anything only illness and anguish; but when I decided to surrender them in the hands of God and let Him direct me to safe port, my life changed and became a life of rejoicing, health and achievements. I began to enjoy each day the gifts of my God, and I stopped focusing on problems starting to see them smaller every day as compared to the blessing that God has given me. By looking at myself and comparing myself I have been able to see that even my face has changed since I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. As long as we are in this world we will have situations in which, we can face them alone or in the hand of God. It is my hope that you will allow God to help you in any situation you are in, and that each of you reflects the peace and hope of having met a Savior. God bless you.
Looking forward for next Thursday.

When the pain is greater than the faith
Greetings
There are times
in our lives when the pain is so great that it doesn’t allow us to feel the
presence of God, weakening our faith. I have had moments in my life in which I
have experienced that feeling. There was a time when my husband was in the hospital
with a very delicate health situation and the anguish I felt was so big that it
didn’t let me feel the presence of God, and I felt that my faith was starting
to break; I didn’t even feel the strength to pray. It was at that moment that I
decided to call a friend and say: "Please come to the hospital, I have no
strength and my faith is broken, the pain is not letting me feel the presence
of God." Then she said: "I'm heading
to the hospital, please stay calm."
When my friend
arrived, I said: "I'm out of strength, I need to pray but I do not have
strength"; I
asked her to please have a prayer, and we went to a place alone where we read
the Bible and she began to pray. While
she prayed, despite eyes closed, I saw the shadow of a person circling around
us. When
she finished praying she said, "Now I ask you, do you believe that God has
the power to raise your husband?" And
I answer, "My faith is broken by all this pain I’m feeling," Then my
friend asks again, "Do you believe that God has the power to raise your
husband, yes or no?" I
answer that although my faith is broken I believe that God can raise him and I
ask God to help me to strengthen my faith. In
that very moment, I felt an immense peace inside me that I cannot explain. I
didn’t tell her what I had seen while she prayed, we said goodbye and I went
back to my husband's room; That
night I slept in a chair beside him with a lot of cold but with great peace. The
next day my friend called me to ask how my husband was and how I felt. While
we were talking, she asked me: "Yesterday while we were praying didn’tt
you saw a shadow around us?" And
I said yes. She
said, "Me too, and the question I asked you at the end of the prayer was
motivated by something inside me, something I cannot explain”. After two days,
my husband was discharged from the hospital.
That is why I repeat to you that I believe in God because I have felt his present in my life, not because anybody has told me, and that is why I urge you also to give yourself the opportunity to feel it too. He loves us and wants to walk beside us and help us; We just must trust Him.
That is why I repeat to you that I believe in God because I have felt his present in my life, not because anybody has told me, and that is why I urge you also to give yourself the opportunity to feel it too. He loves us and wants to walk beside us and help us; We just must trust Him.
In John 16: 20-24
it says, "Very truly I tell you, you will weep and
mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to
joy. A woman giving birth
to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she
forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.
So with you: Now is your time of grief,
but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your
joy. In
that day, you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father
will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in”
1 Peter 5: 7
says, "Casting all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you."
The message “do not fear” appears throughout the Scriptures with firmness and persistence. After all, fear and anxiety have been part of human existence since sin entered the earth. Anxiety and fear about what may happen is one of the most dangerous emotions for physical and mental health. A medieval legend tells of a traveler who one night encountered Fear and Plague on the way to London, where they hoped to kill ten thousand people. The traveler asked Plague if he would do all that killing. "Oh, no," said Plague, "I will kill only a few hundred, my friend, Fear will kill the rest. "

It is my desire that even when you have moments of pain, you can trust that you have a Father in heaven who cares for you and will not abandon you, and always remember that the darkest moment of the night is when the sun is about to rise. Do not give up, because, with a little faith and perseverance, you can achieve what you have wish for. Trust in God’s promises and remember that even if there are times in our lives in which the pain doesn’t let us feel the presence of God, He will always be by our side because He loves us and gave His life for us

The triumph of faith
Many years ago, I found out that I could
not have children but, I felt no fear or sadness in my heart because I was
certain that God was in control of the situation. On many occasions, I saw my
husband very sad and thoughtful but I always told him: “Don’t think about it
anymore because God will give us the blessing of being parents”. Every time we visited
a clothing store, I bought things for my baby and my husband said to me, "wouldn’t
it be better that you wait for God to do the miracle and then buy things? and
my answer was: "If I had any doubts, I would wait, but the God I believe
in will make me a mother; I don’t tell Him how he will help me, I will just wait
for His ways and His time, to do the miracle; and while I wait, I will enjoy preparing
myself for the arrival of a baby to this home”.
Finally, we were given the miracle! I was
pregnant! but one month later I began to have threats of abortion and during
one of those, the doctor told me to prepare for the worst, to be strong. I did not prepare for the worst, instead I
decided to hang in tight to the hope that God would save that pregnancy and I
remember how I said in my mind: “God, you don’t abandon those who have put their
trust in You”. That same day, almost at midnight, all the contractions,
bleeding and vomiting disappeared. Today that baby is a ten-year-old boy, and not
only that, I am also the mother of a five-year-old girl, another miracle in my
life of which I will share my testimony later. My children are the living proof of an
unshakable faith. Today I thank God for the opportunity He gave me to have
children, both who are very different but that complete my life with the most
pure and unconditional love I have ever known.
My faith prevented me from doubting that God would answer my prayers and I simply prepared myself for the miracle even without having received it. This reminds me of the story of the two farmers who prayed to God for rain, one of them prepared the soil to receive the rain while the other, even praying for the rain, never prepared the soil. Finally, God granted the miracle of the rain to the one who prepared the soil because this man was the one that showed God faith without doubts and it was pleasing to God.
In Matthew 17:20 Jesus said to them, " "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Not all the time I have had unshakable faith but certainly in the moments in which I have maintained my faith I have been able to see the most beautiful miracles in my life.Put your burdens and worries in the hands of Jesus, let Him carry them for you, and you should not regret.it
John 11:40 Jesus said to him, "Did not
I tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?
Hebrews 11: 1 So faith is the certainty of what is expected the conviction of what is not seen.
Although there are still petitions in my life in which God has kept silence, I trust in his promises and take for granted that the miracle will come to my life according to his will. I urge all of you to declare your miracle today in the name of Jesus. God bless you.

El triunfo de la fe
Saludos
